2012 VARSITY AND JV SCHEDULES |

Here are links to the 2012 varsity and junior varsity schedules. Please add these dates to your calendar. They are also posted on the menu to the left .
There are two changes to these schedules. The dates for the varsity regional tournament should be April 17 through April 20. Also the home and away dates for the junior varsity teams against Collins Hill should be switched so that Feb 29 is home and March 27 is at Collins Hill.

Beginning next week (2/6), the JV teams will practice at the courts in Peachtree Station (3930 Eastman Trail). Practice will be Mondays through Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:15. Pros will be present on Feb. 7, 14, and an additional day. This information is also on the Event Calendar.

2nd Place in State !!!
The NHS varsity girls finished second in the state to end an incredible season! They beat Valdosta 3 to 0 in the state semifinals to make it to the championship round. There they faced undefeated (since 2003) Walton High School who was going for their 8th state championship in a row. The team gave it a valiant effort, but couldn't quite pull off another upset. It was a perfect day for tennis and the matches were of the highest quality.
Thanks to those who came out to support the team, including Principal Patterson, NHS Athletic Director Kirk Barton, parents, siblings, and present and former players! Your presence was greatly appreciated! And again, congratulations to the varsity girls on a wonderful, storybook season!
